The table below sets out the carbon performance levels for residential buildings, to help residential buildings in Ebbsfleet decarbonise, and meet the relevant local planning  policies around decarbonisaton and climate change.   

Applicants simply tick the relevant box in the Sustainability Assessment Summary Table for their project, and then provide the supporting evidence in the relevant planning application document, as defined in the EDC Validation Checklist.

EDC has developed supporting design guidance to be used in conjunction with the assessment tables.  

The guidance sets out the relevant local planning policies, key design principles, advice on submission requirements, and links to more detailed design guidance. 


Water

The table below sets out the water performance levels for residential buildings, to help residential buildings in Ebbsfleet to reduce water usage, improve drought tolerance and flood resilience, and meet the relevant local planning policies around integrated water management and climate change.
